Edinburgh Capitals visit long-time league pace-setters Cardiff Devils on Saturday (7pm)with the Welsh side looking to take another step towards the Elite League title.

Meanwhile, the race for the last play-off berth hots up this weekend with three teams vying for the coveted eighth and final place.

Braehead Clan are in-form with back-to-back wins and they are in the box seat with 47 points from 50 games.

They visit third-placed Belfast Giants (7pm) but Dundee Stars, who are tenth, entertain ninth-placed Coventry Blaze (7pm) in a key clash.

Stars have 44 points from 48 games and are on a roll with three straight wins.
Blaze are a point ahead but have played 50 games.

Dundee player/coach Omar Pacha said: “This is a huge game for us and we can’t afford any slip-ups, particularly at home.”

Meanwhile, second-placed Manchester Storm entertain Fife Flyers who are fourth (7pm).

Both sides are guaranteed a spot in the play-offs but the Scottish sides coach Todd Dutiaume is looking to secure a top three place at the end of the regular season.
