Despite the Artic weather which has swept across much of Scotland this week, Hearts William Hill Scottish Cup quarter final against Motherwell at Fir Park is scheduled to go ahead as planned this Sunday, kick-off 2.15pm.
Hearts have asked the huge support expected to travel through to head to Fir Park early. Although Motherwell have staged a huge effort to clear the stadium and surrounding areas of snow, Police Scotland have advised supporters to exercise caution when approaching and accessing Fir Park. Turnstiles will open at 1.00pm.
On the field, Hearts are hopeful defender John Souttar will have recovered from the injury which forced him to miss the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock on Tuesday whilst Demetri Mitchell is also expected to have recovered from a knock which forced him out of the same game.
