Former Hibs’ striker Jason Cummings has signed a loan deal with Rangers until the end of the season.
The 22 year-old joins the Light Blues from Nottingham Forest, with Rangers having an option to purchase him outright in the summer should his initial spell be a success.
Cummings left Easter Road in the summer having helped the club to promotion from the Championship. He also featured in the famous 2016 Scottish Cup victory.
The Edinburgh born player told Rangers TV: “I’m absolutely delighted to come to such a massive club.
“Once I knew they were interested, there was no question in my mind that I wanted to sign for them.
“My situation down south meant that I wasn’t going to play as much, so I was just wanting to get out there, get game time and get back to enjoying football again.
“I can’t wait to get started now. I asked my agent to try and sort something out, and when I heard Rangers were interested it was just something I couldn’t decline.
“I have always enjoyed playing against Rangers, and hopefully I can enjoy playing on the other side this time.”
“It’s such a massive club and it’s a privilege to be here. I am going to enjoy this six months and I can’t wait to get out there at Ibrox and wear the blue.”
“I cannot wait and I wish it was today! I can’t wait to meet all the boys, get training, get out there at Ibrox and get back to enjoying football again.”
