A teenager has been charged in connection with an attempted robbery in the Duart Crescent area which took place around 10.50am on Wednesday 25 October at the Day-to-Day shop.
The 26-year-old shopkeeper was threatened with a knife but was thankfully uninjured.
An 18-year-old man has now been charged in connection with this incident and is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday 20 December.
