The Scottish SPCA recently welcomed local MP Ian Murray out on a trip in the Edinburgh area with animal rescue officer Sarah Auldsmith.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity showcased their work by taking Mr Murray out to a number of animal rescues to show him what goes on behind the scenes on a day to day basis.
Scottish SPCA Chief Executive Kirsteen Campbell said, “We were delighted when MP Ian Murray expressed his interest in finding out more about what our frontline staff do on a day to day basis.
“It’s great to be able to showcase the hard work done by the team as our frontline staff have by no means an easy job.”
Ian Murray, MP said, “I had a great afternoon with Sarah. She was able to show me all the wonderful work the Scottish SPCA do and it was very productive.”
