Grange, currently riding high in Division One, recorded an astonishing result in the men’s Scottish Cup.

They destroyed Third Division minnows FMGM Monarchs 21-1 at Fettes College.

Under-strength Edinburgh University beat their Glasgow counterparts 3-1, Davyn Keuter scored twice while Matthew White got the other.

Clydesdale were given a walkover by Falkirk but Grove Menzieshill remain in the event but it took a penalty shoot out to dispose of Uddingston who led 4-1 at one stage.

Western Wildcats edged Hillhead 3-2 at Old Anniesland.

In the women`s competition, holders Edinburgh University were 5-2 winners over city rivals Erskine Stewart`s Melville. Hanna McKie scored a hat-trick while Louise Campbell and Zara Malseed also counted.

Grove Menzieshill eased into the quarter-finals with a 4-0 victory over Watsonians but under-strength city rivals Dundee Wanderers lost 3-1 to Glasgow University.

A 3-0 win over Stirling Wanderers put Glasgow High Kelvinside into the next round while Hillhead recorded a 2-0 victory over Merlins Gordonians.
