Dundee Stars’ general manager Omar Pacha is unlikely to have his new American hit-man Brian Hart in his squad for Saturday’s Elite League visit of Edinburgh Capitals.
.
The Canadian believes winger Hart, who was drafted by National Hockey League side, Tampa Bay Lightning, will be a massive addition to the squad and he added: “I just know that the fans are going to love him. We are hoping there will be no delays with his visa process.”

Meanwhile, experienced Chris Lawrence has successfully gone under the knife and Pacha confirmed that the experienced forward is now recovering with a targeted return at Christmas.

Elsewhere, Fife Flyers could face a Braehead Clan backlash when the pair square-up in the Elite League in Glasgow on Saturday.

Under-pressure Clan head coach John Tripp has demanded a reaction following back-to-back weekend defeats at Cardiff Devils and Guildford Flames.

It’s Clan’s homecoming game after being on the road for four weeks because Disney On Ice was at Braehead.

Tripp, who took over from Ryan Finnerty in the summer, admitted: “Last weekend was disappointing. I expected more from the team and hopefully we’ve learnt some lessons.”
