Armed police officers searched a house in Meadowfield Terrace, Duddingston this morning in connection with a shooting incident in Dalkeith which took place over the weekend.
A house on Woodburn Road was shot at on Sunday as part of what police called a ‘targeted attack.’
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We are currently conducting a search of a property in the Duddingston area as part of the investigation into a firearms discharge in Dalkeith on Sunday.
“Inquiries are continuing.”
