Police have confirmed that Anthony Russell has been traced safe and well.
The 26-year-old was found within the Sighthill area of the city at around 10.15 a.m this morning.
Police have thanked the public for their assistance with this appeal.
John graduated from Telford College in 2010 with an HNC in Practical Journalism and since then he worked for the North Edinburgh News, The Southern Reporter, the Irish News Review and The Edinburgh Reporter.
