Hibs officially signed up as a Disability Confident Employer on Friday at the Employ with Confidence networking business event held at Easter Road Stadium.
The event for businesses was supported by GameChanger and the Joined up for Business Partnership in Edinburgh and sponsored by the Shaw Trust.
Keynote speakers included Chief Executive Leeann Dempster, MSP for Edinburgh East Tommy Sheppard and Alistair Kerr of the Shaw Trust.
Commenting on the day, Leeann said, “Friday was a terrific opportunity for businesses to gain advice and information on what funding and resource support is available to them for employing a member of staff who has a disability or health issue or indeed develops a disability or health issue and I am delighted that Hibernian FC has signed up as a Disability Confident Employer. ”
