Hibernian have confirmed that the process to elect two supporter representatives onto the Board of the Club is now open.
Supporters have until Wednesday 30th November at 5pm to nominate themselves or someone else..
Supporters can also nominate at the West Stand Reception or by mailing Nominations, Easter Road Stadium, 12 Albion Place, Edinburgh, EH7 5AS. When nominating, supporters should include the name, client reference number, e-mail and telephone number of the person being nominated.
Following the closing of the nomination period those nominated will be contacted and invited to meet members of the board to hear what is expected from them in the role and to decide if they wish to go forward.
Those who do will prepare a statement outlining their credentials and reasons for wanting to serve on the board. These statements will be published online at the commencement of the voting process.
This is the second time the Club have conducted such a vote, with current supporter representatives Frank Dougan and Amit Moudgil having served a two year spell on the board. Both individuals are eligible to stand for re-election.
Chief Executive Leeann Dempster said: “Having supporter representatives on the Board has been very worthwhile for the Club.
“Both Amit and Frank have contributed to the success of the Club over the last two years and we have benefited from their experience and input.
“The Club have put a lot of effort into re-engaging with supporters on a number of levels. To have 11,000 season ticket holders and over a third of shares in the Club in the hands of supporters is significant progress and we will continue to work hard to grow the Club and have fans at the centre of everything we do.
“We now invite supporters who are interested in standing for the positions of supporter representatives on the Board to put themselves forward.”
