Now that the winter weather is really beginning to hit you are asked to look out your winter woollies and warm clothes to donate to your local Barnardo’s charity shop. There are stores in Leith Walk, Portobello, Stockbridge and Wester Hailes.
There will be a real need for these warm clothes as the temperature drops. So do a little clear out and make your donations today, or of course you may be a shopper!
William Farrell, Area Business Manager, for shops in Edinburgh said: “Our shops are a great place to find everything you need as the mercury drops, especially winter woollies, coats, jumpers, gloves, scarves and hats which will fly off the shelves as we all swap our wardrobes over.”
William added: “As well as encouraging shoppers to come in and see our winter range, we are also appealing to the community to raid their cupboards and wardrobes to help replenish our stocks. We’re particularly in need of men’s winter woollies and jackets.
All profits raised in your local Barnardo’s Scotland shops are used to help transform the lives of Scotland’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people.
Shoppers can also buy household goods, books, toys, children’s clothes and accessories as well as men’s and ladies’ clothing, and look out for Christmas cards and wrapping paper on sale in Barnardo’s shops across Scotland.
