Police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a housebreaking in Broxburn that happened in East Main Street on Monday 19th October.

A 30-year-old and a 32-year-old were arrested by officers from the Community Investigation Unit.

Both have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and are scheduled to appear before Livingston Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 20th.

Officers are looking for information from the public in relation to bogus callers in West Lothian.

Constable Craig Ireland said, “Tracing those involved in bogus calling and housebreaking remains a priority for Police Scotland and we treat all reports extremely seriously.

“Rest assured that we will always act on information passed to us and I would urge anyone who wants to report a crime to contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
