The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has appointed David Martins as Director of Sales. He brings an enviable breadth of experience in luxury properties, most recently with Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri.
David (31) is Portuguese and has more than nine years’ experience in hospitality. He said: ‘To be part of this iconic hotel is a fantastic opportunity. The Caledonian has a very strong team, from different luxury backgrounds, which will definitely allow me to bring a new approach to the market with a key focus on high end service, and a true luxury Waldorf Astoria Service, bringing Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian to a new level of Luxury.”
