As part of the opening celebrations, store manager, Karen Marshall and her team presented Hannah with a cheque for £500. The store chose to donate to The Yard as part of its commitment to supporting the local community.
The Yard is a purpose built indoor and outdoor adventure playground for children and young people with disabilities. They provide a safe environment where children and young people experience play without feeling different in the heart of Edinburgh.
Tesco Express store manager, Karen Marshall said: “We have really enjoyed our store launch celebrations and I would like to thank Hannah for joining us. We are delighted to support The Yard with our £500 donation as they are a great charity which carries out such invaluable work in the Edinburgh community.”
Store opening hours are seven days a week from 6am until 11pm, and for added convenience the store has self-service tills, Click & Collect, mobile phone top-up facility, National Lottery counter, Costa Coffee and a bakery.
