Police are appealing for information to help trace a teenage boy reported missing in the city.
Lewis Watson was last seen leaving his home in Granton Mill Drive on the morning of Monday 11th January as he left to attend school at Broughton High.
However, the 15-year-old did not show up for classes and has not yet returned home.
Officers are now conducting local inquiries to locate Lewis and anyone who knows his current whereabouts is asked to come forward.
He is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build, blue eyes and short blond hair. When he left for school he was wearing his Broughton High School uniform, however, it is believed he may have since changed his clothing.
Sergeant Matt King from Drylaw Police Station said: “Lewis is very familiar with the Drylaw area of Edinburgh, but is also confident in travelling around other parts of the city and so we are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen him since Monday 11th January.
“Anyone with information that can help us find Lewis is asked to contact Police immediately.”
