Police in Forth Valley are appealing for information to help trace a 57-year-old man reported missing in Falkirk.
Alan MacKenzie was seen at around 2.30pm on Sunday 3 January in the Stirling area.
He has not been in touch with family or friends since, and concern is growing for his welfare.
At this time, it’s believed that he may have been in the area of the Gyle Shopping Centre in Edinburgh at around 12.45pm on Thursday 7 January.
Alan is described as white, medium build, 5ft 7inches tall, with balding reddish hair which is white at the sides.
He was last seen wearing glasses, dark beige trainers, dark trousers, a striped t-shirt with a white collar, a hoodie, and a grey coat.
Inspector Billy Drummond of Falkirk said: “We’re eager to establish that Alan is safe and well, and if he hears this appeal I would urge him to contact us or his family.
“Anyone who may have seen Alan, or has information which can help us establish his whereabouts, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
