Hibs’ Development Squad member Scott Martin has joined Ladbrokes League 1 side Forfar Athletic on an emergency loan
The teenager turned out for Dick Campbell’s side on Saturday.
The hard working midfielder has appeared four times for Hibs’ first team this season, scoring his first goal in the Scottish League Cup First Round victory over Montrose in the process. He has also represented the Scotland under-19 team on numerous occasions.
The Station Park side currently sit 5th in the Ladbrokes League 1 table on 15 points and just outside the play-off spaces.
It also offers the opportunity for Martin to link-up with fellow Hibs youngster Lewis Allan with the forward also on loan at Forfar, registering seven appearances and scoring for Dick Campbell’s side away to Ayr United in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile the Hibernian Development Squad are in action on Tuesday afternoon as they host Kilmarnock at Ainslie Park with a 2pm kick-off in the SPFL Development League, with entry to the game via donation.
Joe McBride’s side have lost their last two outings following the 4-2 home victory against Aberdeen on 13 October.
