As predicted by The Edinburgh Reporter and many others, Hearts Head Coach Robbie Neilson has been issued with a notice of complaint by the Scottish FA’s compliance officer. The complaint states that under Disciplinary Rule 72, following on from the Scottish Professional Football League Premiership match between Hamilton Academical FC and Heart of Midlothian FC upon 29th August 2015, in an interview with the BBC, Neilson criticised the performance of the match officials in such a way as to indicate bias or incompetence on their part.
The hearing has been set for Thursday 1st October 2015. Hearts tonight announced they will be appealing against the notice of complaint.
