Hibs have announced that 1500 tickets are being made available to away supporters for the upcoming Premiership Play-Off Semi Final at Easter Road Stadium.

This figure is just under half of the south stand, indicating that the remainder will be allocated to Hibs’ fans.

The news is in response to Rangers allocating less than 1000 tickets to Hibs’ fans should they win their quarter final tie.

Hibs will face the winners of the quarter-final tie between Rangers and Queen of the South, due to be completed this weekend at Ibrox. The winners of that match will face Hibs with the Easter Road tie kicking off at noon on Saturday, May 23rd.

Leeann Dempster, Chief Executive, said: “We anticipate a big demand for tickets for this match from our own supporters, and we need to be in a position to meet that demand.

“We will be selling the three usual home stands first – the East, Famous Five and West – and once they are filled we will sell the additional capacity in the South. I know that Hibernian fans will want to turn out in big numbers to help try to get the team through what is a really big game for the Club.”
