Hibernian Development squad drew 1-1 with Hamilton at New Douglas Park last night.

Taylor Hendry opened the scoring for Hibs in the 34th minute then Scott McMann equalised for Accies 10 minutes after the break.

After the game Development Coach Joe McBride told the club website: “I thought we done okay in terms of playing and moving the ball about. It wasn’t brilliant, but it was okay.

“The biggest thing, I think the last time we played Hamilton, they were much more physical than us and we never stood up to the physicality last time.

“I thought we done that tonight – especially at the back as I thought Jordan McGregor was fantastic for us. I was pleased with that aspect of the game.

“Hamilton had big experienced guys playing at the back, but our boys have got to cope with that.

“I thought we got into some decent areas and never capitalised on it through either a slack pass or the wrong choice of pass.”

Hibernian Development Squad: Sean Brennan, Aaron Dunsmore, Calum Crane, Kevin Waugh, Jordan McGregor, Aaron Scott, Scott Martin (Adam Watson, 71), Conner Duthie, Lewis Allan, Taylor Hendry, Jordan Sinclair (Ben Stirling, 62). Unused substitutes: Kleton Perntreou, Fraser Murray.

Next up Hibernian face Celtic in the semi-finals of the Little Big Shot Scottish FA Youth Cup on Thursday evening (kick off 7pm) at Cappielow.
