Hibs’ Development squad are in SPFL Development League action this evening with a tough match against Rangers at the Bet Butler Stadium, Dumbarton, kick off 6pm.

First teamers Tomas Cerny, Jordon Forster, Danny Handling and Franck Dja Djedje are all expected to feature for the Development team.

Development Coach Joe McBride told the club website: “This will be a busy week, but it is one that everybody in the squad is looking forward to.

“We will field a few first team players tonight and I’m sure Rangers will play some experienced players too, so that does help the younger players’ development.

“We’re expecting a difficult match and then we will start preparing for the Cup tie at Easter Road, so there are plenty of positives to focus on.”

The Little Big Shot Scottish FA Youth Cup quarter final tie against Queen’s Park takes place at Easter Road on Sunday (kick off 1pm).
