Police in Eyemouth are currently being assisted by the coastguard in their search for a missing 66 year old local man.
John Young was last seen leaving The Fleet pub at approx 6.30pm last night heading to the harbour area of Eyemouth.
He is described as white, 6ft 1in tall, slim build, with short dark hair and a beard and was wearing a hat, a dark grey jacket fawn trousers and a blue t-shirt.
Police would like anyone who may have information that can assist to call 101.
John graduated from Telford College in 2010 with an HNC in Practical Journalism and since then he worked for the North Edinburgh News, The Southern Reporter, the Irish News Review and The Edinburgh Reporter.
