The Edinburgh Reporter met with Councillor Frank Ross recently on the top floor of the Atria One office building which the council built. This brave development at a time of recession cost the council £80m but has been hailed as a great success, both in terms of design and on an economic basis.
The Green Investment Bank is one of the tenants and they were given an award last week for one of the best places to work in the UK.
Councillor Ross is the Economy Convener, responsible for putting Edinburgh on the map for new business and jobs.
In a series of short interviews with the convener he explained his vision for the city and some of the past successes. Watch all the videos here!
