Tram news – Read our LiveBlog – Museum Staff to strike – Chris Hadfield – Christmas jokes
In tram news there will be a liveried tram in St Andrew Square today showing off the colour scheme which will be used. Yes we know there is red in there – but the design and colours will not have been on display till now. The tram will be brought all the way in from Gogar this morning and then after the photo calls will go back out to the depot. So fear not! If you see the tram, your eyes are not deceiving you.

The BBC report that the staff at the National Museum of Scotland who are paid the minimum wage are to strike over enhanced pay for weekend working. It is not yet clear when the strike action might be taken.
Could you perhaps help us to get onto the local news list on the BBC? You will see the list if you click here. It includes Leith FM and Guardian Edinburgh, both of which were great but are now defunct…..
If you email the BBC we might manage to get The Edinburgh Reporter onto the list! newsonlinescotland@bbc.co.uk

Commander Chris Hadfield is visiting Edinburgh tomorrow. He will be signing books at Blackwells and then later at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh where he will be giving a talk. Both events seem to be sold out, but you can always try! Details of the ROE event here.
This snippet of news just allows us to use that YouTube clip again of Commander Hadfield on the ISS singing and playing his guitar. Fabulous as well as out of this world….
