Meadowbank for the Fireworks Display – Jekyll & Hyde – Naming the streets of Leith – Edinburgh Ceilidh tonight – Friends of Montgomery Street Park
Edinburgh Leisure puts on the biggest November fireworks display in Edinburgh tonight. If you haven’t got a ticket yet you may still be lucky. Here is what they say:-
Tickets are still on sale for our fantastic fireworks display held at Meadowbank Sports Centre on Tuesday 5 November. This year we have a theme of Superheroes and we would love as many people as possible to dress up as their favourite superhero. Tickets are £6.50 per person and are available to buy online at http://meadowbanksportscentre.ticketsource.co.uk/.
The programme for the night is as follows:
Doors Open at 18.30 for pre-show entertainment
Event starts 19.30
Fireworks end 20.00
Theme is Superheroes and fireworks show will be delivered by 21cc FireworksWe are looking forward to another explosive night at Meadowbank and can’t wait to see you there!

Greener Leith are all excited about an event tomorrow evening when the city’s archaeologists are going to talk about some digs going on in Leith and how residents can get involved in naming the streets down at Leith Fort. It sounds like an interesting evening!

The lovely people from the Ceilidh Club have been in touch – they are off dancing!
“Tonight we are back with the Ceilidh club at Summerhall featuring The Occassionals ceilidh band. Tickets are £6 on the door or in advance from our website with everything kicking off at 8pm.
Also don’t miss our next Ceilidh club @ The Picture House on Lothian Road with Teannaich on Friday 29th Nov. Doors open at 7pm with dancing kicking of shortly after that.
