Record-breaking cyclist, Mark Beaumont, and rugby legend, Andy Irvine, will entertain guests and raise money for The Soldiers’ Charity on 30 November 2012 at a special St Andrew’s Night Dinner at The Royal Scots Club.
The black-tie dinner will be hosted by Austin Lafferty, President of the Law Society of Scotland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment while raising money for a very worthy cause. The Soldiers’ Charity gives lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. Soldiers risk so much for us, but for them, it’s just doing their job. In return, the charity provides financial assistance when they are in real need.
The Soldiers’ Charity has seen a 30% rise over the past two years in applications from soldiers who have taken part in previous and current conflicts and we currently raise £7 million a year to meet this need. As a result of Current Operations it is anticipated that the requests for assistance will rise significantly in the coming years.
Tickets cost £55 each / £500 for a table of ten. To book or to find out more, please call 0131 556 4270.
