The eleventh Scottish Tattoo Convention takes place at the Corn Exchange this weekend.
This is billed as the biggest single arts event in Scotland apart from the Edinburgh Festival and the organisers are ready to welcome hundreds of visitors over the two days.
A spokesperson for the Convention said: “The show is run by Scottish Tattooist James Aitken who has been in the business for over two decades, and who prides himself in promoting great Scottish talent in art – in all forms (at the show we have previously had art book launches, artwork exhibitions including paint, photography, music, comedy etc). We have a great catalogue of previous artwork from the show (I have included some here). At the show this year we launch the new tattoo art book by Scottish signwriter Terry Manton.”
