John Harpur is set to be installed as the new vice captain of Craigmillar Park Golf Club at their AGM on Monday, 29 January.
He is pictured, left, receiving the Hunter Cup from past captain George Hunter after winning the New Year three club competition on countback from Gilly Glen and Keith Irons.
All three golfers scored 23 points.
Jeremy Murphy is due to take over as captain with Craig Murison completing his term of office.
