There is a new website where you can have your say on the proposals to turn 111 Princes Street (that’s Debenhams to you and me) into a £50 million hotel led development.

As it is not possible to hold face to face planning consultations, the developers have set up the website to allow anyone to view the proposals and offer support or other comment. This is a chance to make comment to Legal & General who are the owners of the site, but they have not yet made a formal planning application to the council.

There was a live chat on 17 September 2020, but if you missed that then you may be interested to know that the website will remain online until 8 October 2020.

And the developers state: “If you missed this opportunity to engage with the development team, please fill in the form on our feedback section, and a member of the team will get back to you in due course.”
