Hibs’ goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski has agreed a season-long loan move to League One Dumbarton following the on-loan signing of Dillon Barnes from Queens Park Rangers.

The highly-rated 22-year-old caught the eye over the course of Hibs pre-season preparations, with The Sons offering the opportunity of regular first-team football to accelerate his development.

On the back of a successful stint with Cowdenbeath last term, Sporting Director Graeme Mathie said: “Kevin really impressed us over pre-season. He’s at a key stage of his development and it’s really important that he plays games every week.

“Dumbarton is a club I know well and there are good people there who will give him a great platform to progress this season.

“We’re delighted to confirm this loan move for Kevin and I have no doubt he will return to Easter Road a better player for the experience.”
