Hibs will play Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday and Celtic at Parkhead on Monday in preparation for their opening game of the season in eight-days-time.

Jack Ross is expected to use two completely different starting line ups  for both matches to give his squad match practice.

The game against the Hoops will be available for Celtic fans but not Hibs supporters due to technical reasons.

Hibs along with all other Scottish Premiership clubs must reintroduce twice-weekly testing for the first time since 8 July after seven members of staff at St Mirren tested positive for Covid-19.

No St Mirren players are implicated, but the club has been locked down and a bounce game with St Johnstone has been cancelled.

It is unclear whether their opening game league game against Livingston will take place.

One player who will not feature is Florian Kamberi who has been given  permission to return home to Switzerland to spend  time with his family before deciding where his future lies.
