Roberta Hall McCarron, head chef and co-owner of The Little Chartroom in Edinbugh has won Breakthrough Chef of the Year at this year’s national Food and Travel Awards.

Roberta opened The Little Chartroom in Albert Place in June 2018 with her husband Shaun.

Furthermore, they have received a 10/10 review from critic Joanna Blythman as well as glowing reviews from The Sunday Times’ Marina O’Loughlin, Grace Dent of The Guardian and Nicholas Lander from The Financial Times. Roberta is garnering a reputation for herself within the industry, helped in no small part, by winning the Young British Foodie chef award 2018.

Roberta and her husband Shaun McCarron (pictured) met when they both worked at Dominic Jack and Tom Kitchin’s Castle Terrace, she as head chef and he as restaurant manager.
