Nicola and Willem love West Princes Street Gardens so much they had their wedding photos taken there. Willem from Barcelona fell in love with Edinburgh while here on holiday in 2014.

He met Nicola in 2016 and they often shared lunch in the gardens while Nicola was working locally. They were then married in the city centre last month and their six month-old chocolate labrador puppy Lincoln came too.

Nicola said:  “The Ross Fountain and Edinburgh Castle provided the perfect backdrop to our Scottish wedding. There aren’t many city centre locations in the world that are as stunning and iconic as West Princes Street Gardens.”

Willem said: “The beauty of the gardens here is that it is a precious green space for everyone in the heart of the city.”
