Murrayfield Racers clicked into gear in the final session to shoot down Dundee Comets in the Scottish National League. The scoreline was blank after the first session and 1-1 after the second but Racers won 8-2.

Elite League: Manchester Storm 3, Fife Flyers 4. Paul Crowder has been a crucial player for Fife Flyers so far this season and the former Cardiff Devils star again proved the ace card.

The Canadian netted the game-winner in sudden death overtime after a tense contest at Manchester Storm.

And the goal came after Fife levelled at 3-3 through an unassisted goal from Danick Gauthier with only 50 seconds left on the clock.

The welcome game-winner ended a confidence-sapping six game losing streak.

Elite League: Cardiff Devils 2, Dundee Stars 3 (after penalty shots). Matt Marquardt netted the game-winner as Dundee Stars claimed their fourth straight win with a stunning 3-2 success at play-off and league champions Cardiff Devils.

The win was all the more remarkable as Stars trailed 2-0 after 34 minutes and two goals in ten, third-period minutes.

Elite League: Nottingham Panthers 7, Glasgow Clan 2. Glasgow Clan became the fifth straight victim of in-form Nottingham Panthers.

The high-flying Midlands side were 3-0 ahead after 12 minutes before Zack Fitzgerald netted for Clan five minutes later.

Then the home side claimed three unanswered goals to lead 6-1 and end the contest.
Clan’s second came from Matt Beca after 43 minutes.
