DHOOM’S SWING SEATS GO VIRAL AS LAUNCH OF A LA CARTE MENU NEARS
Dhoom Indian “streatery” and cocktail bar, which recently opened in Dunfermline, has been causing great excitement amongst the town’s foodies, with many customers coming from out with Fife to visit.
The restaurant’s novel swing seats have gone viral, such has been the interest in them, with many pictures and comments posted on social media.
Even national paper, The Sun, picked up on the story with an article last week.
Its special launch starter menu has gone down very well, and Dhoom is about to launch its full a la carte menu, and is taking bookings for Christmas.
With the capacity to seat 100 people, Dhoom serves authentic tapas style street food from all regions of India. It’s cocktail bar, using Indian herbs, such as turmeric, basil, ginger, coriander, and star anise, serves a wide range of innovative cocktails.
Owner Dhaneswhar Prasad said: “ I am delighted that Dhoom has been so well received so far, and that the swing seats are creating a talking point. I very much thought this would be the case. It was an idea I picked up when travelling throughout India in the summer.”
“Every day we see people walking by, pointing at them and taking pictures.”
“We look forward to launching our full menu, and hope that many more people will be heading our way to try Dhoom.”
