Murrayfield Racers travel to Telford Tigers in the National Ice Hockey League, North Cup, on Saturday after being beaten by the English side in Edinburgh on Sunday.

It’s Racers only game this weekend so the players can give it their all.

Scott McKenzie, who used to watch Racers as a youngster, now plays for Tigers and he welcomed the Murrayfield team back into ice hockey.

And he urged Racers fans to be patient as it will take time for the club to grow.

Other Scottish National League fixtures on Saturday are Kilmarnock v Paisley, Dundee Tigers against Aberdeen Lynx and Kirkcaldy Kestrels v Solway Stingrays.

On Sunday, Paisley host Tigers and Stingrays entertain Kestrels.

In the Elite League on Saturday, Glasgow host Belfast and Fife visit Manchester while Dundee are at Sheffield.

On Sunday, Fife are at Coventry with Dundee hosting Belfast.
