The annual Hibernian FC Golf Day for 2018 will take place at Archerfield Links on Wednesday 28 November.
This year’s event will see teams of three partnered with a current player, member of the coaching team or a former Hibernian player or manager, before participating in a Texas Scramble competition with a shotgun start at 10am.
Current first team golfers include David Gray, Steven Whittaker, Ryan Porteous, Mark Milligan, Martin Boyle, Jamie Maclaren, Oli Shaw with a more in contention for selection should they manage to obtain a handicap of less than 28 prior to the event! Neil Lennon, Garry Parker, Grant Murray and Alan Combe from the coaching staff also keen golfers who will be present on the day.
Former players and managers include the likes of Alex Miller, Tam McManus, Derek Riordan and Jim Leighton, with more to be signed up.
Arrival is from 8:15am with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee available on arrival, with the teams of four moving onto the fantastic Fidra Links course for 9:45am for the 10am shotgun start.
There are prizes on offer for the winners, runners-up and third place teams, as well as a raffle taking place following the round of golf.
An exceptional two-course meal will then be served in the exclusive Archerfield Clubhouse Private Dining Room, with Steve Cowan providing the after dinner entertainment, ending at approximately 5pm.
Places at the event are priced at £600 (including VAT) per team of three.
A small number of teams are available, so don’t delay signing up if you are interested in playing with current and former players and coaches on one of Scotland’s finest golf courses.
