Hibs will play NSÍ Runavík of the Faroe Islands in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
The first leg is scheduled for Thursday 12 July at Easter Road and the return leg is due to take place on Thursday 19 July.
Runavic have played 22 times in Europe, winning two games, a 1-0 victory over Tblisi in the 2008/09 Champion’s League first qualifying round and a 4-3 victory over Linfield in the 2015/16 Europa League first qualifying round.
They also managed a 0-0 draw with Fulham in the 2011/12 Europa League.
They normally play at the Vio Lokin Stadium which has a 2,000 capacity but the Hibs’ game is likely to be played at the Torsvollur stadium in the capital Torshavn or the Svangaskaro Stadium, the home of B68 Toftir.
They are currently 3rd in the table after 14 games, 11 points behind leaders Havnar Boltfelag.
If Hibs beat NSI Runavik over the two legs they will face Asteras Tripolis of Greece who finished fifth in the league last season and qualified for Europe on goal difference,
They have a decent home record in Europe losing only to Tottenham Hotspur and Schalk 04 but have never won an away game.
They play at the 7,600 capacity Theodoros Kolokotronis stadium in Tripoli Greece..
