The first Christmas video ad for Lothian has become a social media hit after attracting 140,000 views online. The video tells the story of a young bus customer being reunited with his precious Christmas star by a kind-hearted driver in a Santa costume.

Produced largely in-house, with the help of Immagine Productions and a budget of less than £1000, the video has appeared on Facebook and Twitter. It has received thousands of likes and shares, as well as rave reviews from Lothian’s customers and other well-wishers.

Gaynor Marshall, Lothian’s Communications Director, said: “We have been so touched by the reaction that so many people have had to our first ever Christmas advert.  It was really important to us to reflect the genuine connection we feel with the communities we serve and that’s why the video was made largely by our own people and stars members of the extended Lothian family!

“Teams from across our whole business go out of their way all-year-round to deliver a great customer experience and this was our way of celebrating that.”

So here you are one more time…..
