The streets of Edinburgh’s city centre came alive with light today when the Christmas tree lights were switched on and all the illuminations across the city centre lit up.
There was singing and dancing and fireworks. Boy were there fireworks. For five minutes the sky above Charlotte Square was alive with technicolour.
