Edinburgh Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing from the city centre.
Michelle Costello from Leith was last seen at around 7 p.m. tonight Tuesday 3rd October in Leith Walk.
Since then the 46-year-old has failed to return home and concern is now growing for her welfare.
Anyone who knows Michelle’s current whereabouts is asked to come forward.
She is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with a large build, short dyed blonde hair and wearing a green anorak, grey t-shirt with a dog motif on the front and navy blue leggings.
Inspector Grant McCulloch said: “Since being last seen on Leith Walk there have been no further sightings of Michelle, nor has she been in touch with family or friends.
“Anyone who knows where we can find Michelle is urged to contact police immediately.
“I would also ask Michelle to get in touch with us to let us know she is safe.”
