As part of the Fringe there will be an art show at Bonhams from Thursday morning and you will be able to buy a piece of art while supporting charity.  Artists who have offered up paintings for sale will donate almost 50% of the sale price of their work to Macmillan Cancer Support.

A Macmillan volunteer helps hang one of the paintings on sale from Thursday 24 August 2017.

This year’s Macmillan Art Show showcases work from almost 140 exhibitors with a focus on young emerging artists as well as those who are well established within the art world.

Macmillan’s exhibition platform not only offers great exposure but it also helps overcome the practical difficulties of selling work as a developing artist.

You can access the full list of all artwork which is on sale from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 August here.

Sponsored by Artemis, Brown Shipley, ADP Architects and Oddbins, and a special thank you to Bonhams for allowing us to use their premises for this exhibition.

The art show provides the opportunity for art buyers to purchase limited edition artworks, to nurture new talent and give support to those suffering from cancer.
