As the general election on the 8th of June approaches these hustings events are an important opportunity for you to make sure you have the information you need about all the candidates in your constituency.
Below is a list of the local hustings we have been able to find. If you are organising an event please let us know.

Annandale Mosque: Wednesday 24th May, 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Holding candidates from Edinburgh North and Leith constituencies.
Visitors are asked to remove footwear before entering the mosque and all members of the community are encouraged to come along, question, hear and debate with local candidates.

Balerno Parish Church: Saturday 29th May, 7pm – 9pm
Balerno Council will host their parliamentary hustings with candidates from Pentlands Ward and Edinburgh South West. If you would like to submit a question ahead of the date, email pentlandhustings@gmail.com no later than Wednesday 24th May. For more information click here.

Equality Hustings organised by the Equal Representation Coalition, is bring together candidates to discuss matters of equality, human rights, and Brexit. Book in advance for this free event.

The Lothian branch of the Royal College of Nurses is holding their hustings for nursing matters; including the future of the NHS, healthcare provision, pay and job satisfaction, to be addressed by the 5 main political party candidates. Open to public and RCN members. Free event but book ahead here.
