Hibs have completed the signing of Chris Humphrey on a deal until the end of the season, subject to the completion of registration.

The winger, 29, joins from Preston North End, and will be familiar to Hibs’ fans after a successful four year stint at Motherwell.

The deal was confirmed by Neil Lennon after yesterday’s victory over Falkirk, a result which sees Hibs leapfrog Dundee United back to the top of the table.

The Jamaican internationalist is excited to join the Easter Road side, and is looking forward to meeting up with his teammates.

He told Hibernian Media: “I am pleased to be signing with Hibs.

“I know the club well from my time at Motherwell – they’re a big club and it will be great to play at Easter Road again.

“The team are pushing hard for promotion this season and I’ll hopefully be able to help us achieve that.”
