A 66-year-old woman has been charged with the theft of five remembrance wreaths from Prestonfield War Memorial in Edinburgh last month.
A police spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh charged a 66-year-old woman in connection with the theft of five wreaths from Prestonfield War Memorial.
“The theft was reported on November 20 and four wreaths have been since recovered and returned.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
