Hibs’ supporter Ross Love will be taking on an incredible challenge next week to raise valuable funds to help a fellow fan to walk again.
The 39 year-old is fundraising to send lifelong friend Murray Muir abroad to receive life-changing stem cell treatment.
Murray was paralysed in 2007, but despite being wheelchair-bound he has been very active since the incident, raising the majority of funds required through various activities including taking part in a marathon. They are now looking to raise the final amount needed for the trip.
Ross will be boxing 12 rounds with 12 boxers at Portobello Town Hall on Friday 11 March. Tickets for the event are sold out, but fans can show their support by donating to the cause through a Just Giving page set up by Ross.
