Hearts have confirmed that their William Hill Scottish Cup Fifth Round tie against Hibernian will be on Sunday 7th February 2016 with a 12.30pm kick-off. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. With the Scotland v England rugby clash due at Murrayfield the day before, it was always likely the tie of the round in the Scottish Cup would be moved to the Sunday.
Hearts have also confirmed a re-arranged date for their Ladbrokes SPFL Premiership fixture with Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The game, postponed in December due to gale force winds, will now take place on Tuesday 1st March 2016 at Tynecastle with a 7.45pm kick off.
On a busy day at Tynecastle, Hearts also announced that Liam Smith has signed an extension to his contract to keep the right back in Gorgie until the summer of 2018. The 19 year old has made three appearances in Hearts first team this season and is highly regarded by Head Coach Robbie Neilson.
