TER Sick Kids

Hibs’ stars will visit the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC) in Edinburgh this afternoon with a selection of Christmas presents for some of the city’s sickest kids.

The kind-hearted footballers  will visit the young patients in the run up to the festive season in a bid to bring Christmas cheer as part of surprise visit to the hospital.

The Hibs first team will visit wards within the hospital armed with a selection of sweet treats as well as a high tech tablet for the wards where children will spend Christmas Day.

Roslyn Neely, chief executive of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation, said: “We’re extremely grateful to our lovely visitors for taking some time out of their busy schedules to spread some Christmas cheer at the RHSC.

“It’s particularly difficult for children who are unwell at this time of year so it’s a pleasure to see their faces light up when they are surprised by a team of magical visitors armed with such special presents.”
