Hibernian’s Development Squad beat Falkirk 2-1 win at Ainslie Park last night thanks extending the team’s unbeaten run in the SPFL Development League to four games.
Oli Shaw opened the scoring in the 16th minute but Tony Gallacher equalised just before the break. Jack Breen grabbed a late winner in the 89th minute.
Afterwards Hibernian’s U20 Development Coach, Joe McBride told the club website: “I thought in the first half an hour, we were terrific, really on the front foot, playing at high intensity, we were aggressive, created chances – we just didn’t take as many of them as we would have liked”.
“When we lost the goal, I think we fell out of it a bit, but we stuck at it, and it was a great goal to win the game.
“I thought all the boys did well at different points tonight, but Adam Watson in particular, was terrific in my opinion.
“The performance of the team at St Mirren 4 or 5 weeks ago, was good despite the defeat and since then we’ve got better and better with each game.”
